Apple had an amazing quarter, we’ve all seen the numbers, but here is some context to frame them in.
Whether people believe that Apple computers are vulnerable to viruses, malware, spyware, etcetera or not, they have been. Presented here is a brief history of malware on the Mac. Don’t believe the hype; any computer, all computers, are vulnerable. As Apple gains market share; as the iPhone, iPad, and iPod run away with the market, badware will appear. Users beware; keep your computer up-to-date, patch all programs, and install anti-virus firewall software. Then keep your anti-virus firewall software up-to-date.
